STUDENT GROUP FLIGHT
INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
SHANGHAI, CHINA SPRING 2020 SEMESTER

Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Shanghai, China for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on Cathay Pacific Airways from San Francisco to Shanghai departing on January 03, 2020.

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may register online above and specify your preferred departure city on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

Under departure options please select “other” and “depart from an alternate city”. The “from” box will appear and you may specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight. Please continue to complete the reservation form. Your card will not be charged until you receive and accept a fare quote. We will contact you regarding the fare upon receipt of your form. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT IN SHANGHAI. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT, BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT. 

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering a group return flight departing Shanghai on May 09, 2020. You may fly back with the group or you may pick your own independent return flight date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.

SHANGHAI RETURN

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until July 02, 2020 (6 months) from Shanghai back to the city of your departure based on return city specified on the reservation form and return date.
• We are offering a group return flight departing Shanghai on May 09, 2020. You may fly back with the group or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date for a fee of $200 plus any difference in fare based on availability by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights and require 90 day advance notice. The ticket you are purchasing is a student ticket and has limited availability on the flights.
• Routing changes to return from a different city are not allowed under any circumstances. Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION FEES

You are allowed to cancel your ticket for a fee of $300 until November 30, 2019.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS

Please note that the following terms and conditions will be applicable to all passengers who are financial aid students.

September 27, 2019: Your reservation form must be received by Frosch Student Travel along with a payment of $400 as a deposit to secure your space on the group flight.

It is your responsibility to pay the balance payment of your ticket 2 weeks prior to departure date. Your ticket will not be released until you pay the full balance to Frosch Student Travel. You are responsible to follow up with the Financial Aid office and pay us 2 weeks prior to departure. Your Financial Aid office is not responsible for paying the balance of your ticket to us.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees. 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

The airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please be able to handle all your own baggage. Traveling with light baggage will make your travels much easier.
