INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
MONTEVIDEO, URUGUAY FALL 2021 SEMESTER

Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Montevideo, Uruguay for your study abroad program. Frosch Student Travel is a leading travel agency with 40 years of experience specializing in student travel. We will provide round-trip transportation on Latam Airlines from Miami to Montevideo departing on August 20, 2021.

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may register online above and specify your preferred departure city on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

Under departure options please select “other” and “depart from an alternate city”. The “from” box will appear and you may specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight. Please continue to complete the reservation form. Your card will not be charged until you receive and accept a fare quote. We will contact you regarding the fare upon receipt of your form. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT IN MONTEVIDEO. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT , BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering group return flights departing Montevideo on December 11, 2021 and May 14, 2022. You may fly back with the group, or you may pick your own independent return flight date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until August 19, 2022 (1 year) from Montevideo back to the city of your departure.
• We are offering group return flights departing Montevideo on December 11, 2021 and May 14, 2022. You may fly back with the group, or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from Montevideo. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights and require advance notice.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are offering a flexible cancellation policy in case you are not able to travel. You have the option to keep the full credit of the ticket for future travel until Dec/30/2022 without penalty due to Covid-19.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees. 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 bag for a fee of $55 weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the carry-on bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

All airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in oversized or overweight luggage because it might result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please note that you must be able to handle your luggage on your own. Traveling with light luggage will make your travels much easier.
