STUDENT GROUP FLIGHT
INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
URUGUAY FALL 2020 SEMESTER

Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Montevideo, Uruguay for your study abroad program. Frosch Student Travel is a leading travel agency with 40 years of experience specializing in student travel. We will provide round-trip transportation on Latam Airlines from your Los Angeles or New York to Montevideo via Santiago, Chile departing on September 19, 2020. Please register online for a fare quote to depart from your local city to merge with the group flight.

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may continue to register online above and specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

Under departure options please select “other” and “depart from an alternate city”. The “from” box will appear and you may specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight. Please continue to complete the reservation form. Your ticket will not be issued until you receive and accept a fare quote. We will contact you via email regarding the fare upon receipt of your form. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT MONTEVIDEO AIRPORT. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT, BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering group return flight departing Montevideo on December 12, 2020 with an option to fly back independently on a different return date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until March 18, 2020 (6 month) from Montevideo back to the city of your departure.
• We are offering a group return flight departing Montevideo on December 12, 2020. You may fly back with the group or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date for a fee of $350 plus difference in fare based on availability by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights.
• City or Destination changes are not allowed under any circumstances. Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION 

You have the flexibility to cancel until the day before departure and keep the full credit of the ticket for future travel until Jun/30/2022 without penalty. This is a non-refundable ticket which has the flexibility of future travel credit until Jun/30/2022.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

The airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please be able to handle all your own baggage. Traveling with light baggage will make your travels much easier.
