Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to San Jose, Costa Rica for your study abroad program. GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT SAN JOSE AIRPORT. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT , BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

We are offering a group return flight departing San Jose on December 11, 2021 and May 07, 2022.

Miami round-trip:                         Please register online for a fare quote to depart from your local city to San Jose via Dallas.

 

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

 

July 23, 2021: Please complete the flight reservation form if you wish to join the group flight.
To make reservations, please complete and submit reservation form online.

 

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

  • Your return ticket is valid until August 19, 2022 (one year) from Lyon back to the city of your departure based on option specified on reservation form.
  • We are offering a group return flight departing San Jose on December 11, 2021 and May 07, 2022. You may fly back with the group, or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from San Jose based on option chosen on reservation form. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
  • Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date by contacting the Frosch Student Travel groups department while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We are offering a flexible cancellation policy in case you are not able to travel. You have the option to keep the full credit of the ticket for future travel until Dec/30/2022 without penalty due to Covid-19.

If you prefer to receive a refund for the ticket instead of keeping the travel credit, you may cancel at any time prior to departure for only $300. You would receive a full refund minus a $300 cancellation fee. 

 

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to the email address specified on the reservation form.

FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS

Please note that the following terms and conditions will be applicable to all passengers who are financial aid students.

July 23, 2021: Your reservation form must be received by Frosch Student Travel along with a payment of $400 as a deposit to secure your space on the group flight.

It is your responsibility to pay the balance payment of your ticket 2 weeks prior to departure date. Your ticket will not be released until you pay the full balance to Frosch Student Travel. You are responsible to follow up with the Financial Aid office and pay us 2 weeks prior to departure. Your Financial Aid office is not responsible for paying the balance of your ticket to us.

August 20, 2021: Depart for San Jose, Costa Rica

 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 bag for a fee of $30 weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the carry-on bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

The airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please be able to handle all your own baggage. Traveling with light baggage will make your travels much easier.
