Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Brazil for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on Delta Airlines/Gol Airlines from Atlanta to Florianopolis departing on May 20, 2020.

Please register online for a fare quote to depart from your local city to merge with the Atlanta group flight. All flights will merge with the Atlanta group flight.

You may specify your preferred departure city on the reservation form under “departure options”. Please select “other” and “depart from an alternate city to merge with the group” and continue to complete the reservation form. You may specify the city you would like to depart from in the “from” box on the form. Your card will not be charged until you receive and accept the fare quote. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT FLORIANOPOLIS AIRPORT. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT, BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering group return flight departing Florianopolis on June 27, 2020 and from Belo Horizonte on August 11, 2020 with an option to fly back independently on a different return date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until August 19, 2020 (3 months) from Florianopolis or Belo Horizonte back to the city of your departure based on your original selection on the reservation form.
• We are offering a group return flight departing Florianopolis on June 27, 2020 and from Belo Horizonte on August 11, 2020. You may fly back with the group or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date for a fee of $350 plus any difference in fare based on availability by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights and require 30 days advance notice. May, June, July and August are the busiest months for travel to the USA. The ticket you are purchasing is a student ticket and has limited availability on the flights.
• City or Destination changes are not allowed under any circumstances. Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION FEES

You are purchasing a non-refundable ticket.

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees.

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

The airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please be able to handle all your own baggage. Traveling with light baggage will make your travels much easier.
