STUDENT GROUP FLIGHT
INFORMATION AND RESERVATION FORM
BANGALORE, INDIA SPRING 2025 SEMESTER

Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to Bangalore, India for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on Lufthansa Airlines from Chicago to Bangalore departing on January 07, 2025. 

If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may continue to register online above and specify your preferred departure city on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

Under departure options please select “book a connecting flight”. The “from” box will appear and you may specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight. Please continue to complete the reservation form. Your card will not be charged until you receive and accept a fare quote. We will contact you via email regarding the fare upon receipt of your form. OUTBOUND FLIGHT ITINERARY

GROUP WILL BE MET BY A USAC REPRESENTATIVE UPON ARRIVAL AT BANGALORE AIRPORT. IF YOU ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE GROUP FLIGHT, BUT YOU DO NOT ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP BECAUSE OF CANCELLATIONS OR DELAYS OF CONNECTING FLIGHTS, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR TRANSFER FROM THE AIRPORT.

GROUP RETURN FLIGHTS

We are offering a group return flight departing Bangalore on May 01, 2025.

Please note that on the return flight we may use different flight routes in order to get you a lower fare and direct flight to your hometown airport.

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES

TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION

• Your return ticket is valid until January 06, 2026 (1 year) from Bangalore back to the city of your departure based on your choice specified on the reservation form.
• We are offering group return flights departing Bangalore on May 01, 2025. You may fly back with the group or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from Bangalore. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
• Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date by contacting our Frosch Student Travel groups department office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights. December, May, June, July and August are the busiest months for travel between India and the USA. The ticket you are purchasing is a student ticket and has limited availability on the flights.
• Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.

CANCELLATION FEES

We are offering a flexible cancellation policy in case you are not able to travel. You have the option to keep the credit of the ticket for future travel.

If you prefer to receive a refund for the ticket instead of keeping the travel credit, you may cancel at any time prior to departure for only $300. You would receive a full refund minus a $300 cancellation fee. 

YOUR TICKET DELIVERY

Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS

Please note that the following terms and conditions will be applicable to all passengers who are financial aid students.

September 27, 2024: Your reservation form must be received by Frosch Student Travel along with a payment of $400 as a deposit to secure your space on the group flight.

It is your responsibility to pay the balance payment of your ticket 3 weeks prior to departure date. Your ticket will not be released until you pay the full balance to Frosch Student Travel. You are responsible to follow up with the Financial Aid office and pay us 3 weeks prior to departure. Your Financial Aid office is not responsible for paying the balance of your ticket to us.

SEATING

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees. 

BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

You are allowed to check-in 1 free bag weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry on one bag weighing not more than 15 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).

All airlines are very strict about baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.

Please note that you must be able to handle all baggage on your own. Traveling with light luggage will make your travels so much easier.
