How to apply for the 2024 International Experience Canada Work Permit

1. You must be a US citizen between ages 18-35
2. Submit a signed application and terms and conditions form
3. Submit a clear copy of the photo page of your passport
4. Submit an up-to-date resume
5. Submit your credit card details for the $1249 USD program fee payment to Frosch Student Travel through our secure website. Additional fees of $172 CAD Visa Issuance fee and $100 CAD Visa Holder fee must be paid on-line to the Canadian government to complete the visa process.
6. Frosch Student Travel will determine your eligibility for the program and send you instructions for creating your IEC online profile.
7. When you send us a copy of your IEC confirmation saying that you have been added to the applicant pool, we will submit your name so you will receive your RO Letter and your ITA (Invitation to Apply). When you receive your Invitation to Apply (ITA) from MyCIC you will complete your online account and submit the $172 CAD and $100 CAD fees by credit card on-line along with any requested documents.
8. Please note that in some cases, the Canadian government may require a criminal background check or a physical examination depending on your answers to the on-line questionnaire.
9. The Canadian government has advised us that processing of MyCIC applications will normally take 8 to 10 weeks, though they do not guarantee the processing time. They will send you an authorize letter that indicates the period of time you have to enter Canada—normally within one year of issuance.
10. You must enter Canada within the validity period of your authorization letter from MyCIC with proof of $2500 in available funds and proof of insurance.
